He has a concept he calls 'the stadium pitch'. If you were going to give a talk to your audience at a stadium and they were free to leave if they were bored, what would you talk about? Talking about "Why our product is the best" is a sure way to end up with empty seats. "5 ways our product can help you save money" is better but "The 5 Questions You MUST Ask Before Hiring a Financial Advisor" is best.
Chet advises to talk about "market data" (the last topic listed) before "Product data" (the first one). We have used this concept quite effectively in our work for clients.
