There’s no concise answer for this. Every program or company need is different. First evaluate what you want PR to achieve, then outline how you can accomplish those goals. That will then determine the tactics and therefore the costs.
If using an agency, costs can range from $3,000 USD a month all the way above $25,000+ depending on scope (and social or creative costs can drive that up further). In the technology PR space, typical small to mid-size programs fall somewhere between $5,000-$20,000 USD. Freelancers are less (say $1K-$6K) and larger programs can be tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars a month.
