I've been using SiteGround for the past year+ and it's pretty decent. Transferring to them was a breeze. Their support is awesome. Their UI, features... are a bit behind some of the others.
Last year I was on WPEngine and had one horrible support experience after another. I should have known they don't really know WordPress when they failed multiple times transferring my site over to them. One time they broke my install and then didn't know how to fix it. The staging never really worked. The UI was great and the feature set was great, but their support was atrocious.
Often I had to do a bunch of the investigative work so they even had a clue of where to look. For the $$$ that they charge, it's just not worth it. GoDaddy is another option. (Normally I dislike them.) It has some quirks (caching plugins don't tend to work with their built-in caching), but overall it's not bad. Plus I know a couple of people that work on it and they do good work.
