If you can't get hashed lists to work you could ask them to create the custom audience and then get them to share the audience from their ad account to yours.
How do I use a pre-hashed (MD5)Â email lists to build a Custom Audience for Facebook ads?
There are some old support threads where commenters allude to the feature once being available. Did Facebook discontinue it? I can't seem to find any documentation on Facebook's for Business help pages. We have a partner who has a similar audience but different business. We want to request them to give us MD5 hashes of their 'house' email list to build a custom audience. They might be willing to do this whereas they are unlikely to give us their actual list.
