Can I use Facebook's API to pre-populate the email field on my own custom Facebook page?
I've noticed what when using Facebook Lead ads, while the conversion rates are much higher, the CPCs are also a lot more costly--more than would make up for the higher conversion rate.
Is it possible to use the Facebook API to pre-populate the fields on ones own Facebook pages to attain the best of both worlds? Or will a warning popup each time asking the user if they want to share their data with my app and thereby take away any advantage I might gain by doing so? Anyone tried this?

Apologies for going slightly off topic here but if your goal is both leads and clicks to the website then why not take them through to a landing page? You'll get about the same cost per lead anyway.

Well, if I take them to a landing page, the conversion rate is very low. Keeping them within the Facebook environment seems to increase conversion rates quite a bit.
