I’ve been working with people in tech companies for over 20 years and have never seen a slowdown in hiring MBAs. Is it required for most roles? No. Does it help? Maybe. Is it useful? Yes.
In many cases, they are athletes you can throw at any problem and have them own finding a solution or managing the outcome. I like that kind of raw well rounded DNA. Of course, if someone has a technical undergrad degree, that’s a real powerhouse combination. Then the scope really expands.
