Here are a few great sources:
- DigitalCommerce360.com.
DigitalCommerce360.com is a leading (and one of the oldest) e-commerce news site that gives timely news, trends and in-depth research reports. They have both a free and premium tier and claim to have information on 1.8 million businesses. But they need to update their UI. It still looks exactly like it did 10 years ago--ugly and uninviting!
2. 2pml.com.
2pml.com is another leading e-commerce news platform where individuals can get relevant news and information about e-commerce from around the world.
It comes highly recommended for those who need first-hand news.
3. TechCrunch – e-commerce
Over the years, TechCrunch has been a leader in the dissemination of tech news, gadgets and everything concerning the tech industry.
TechCrunch e-commerce is their ecommerce specific offering and typically covers the bigger brand stories e.g. the recent Amazon HQ2 one.
4. The e-commerce Times
The e-commerce Times is another great platform: Check them out here:
https://www.ecommercetimes.com/
5. Get Elastic E-commerce blog
With over 20,000 readers, Get Elastic E-commerce Blog is also a good source for e-commerce news. They also provide tips and techniques on how to start and run your own e-commerce store with ease.
6. Capital & Growth
Of course there is us, Capital & Growth. We do Q&As and will soon start a series called How We Made It In Ecommerce, where we interview successful ecommerce entrepreneurs. The first few guests are:
Billy Candler, Founder of AbsoluteMerch.com (apparel for music events and artists)
Trina Felber, Founder of PrimalLifeOrganics.com (beauty products)
Naveen Jain, Founder of Viome.com (poop diagnostic kits)
Joseph Shaw, Founder of CloudLineApparel.com (socks)
Sahil Lavingia, Founder of GumRoad.com (marketplace for creators)
Mike Faith, Founder of Headsets.com (headsets)
