From talking to an ecommerce consultant who helps lots of smaller businesses get online for the first time, by not offering PayPal you can expect to fore go about 20% of sales you would otherwise get.
Entering credit card details is a point of friction vs. just using a PayPal email address. Additionally, one my have funds sitting in a PayPal account that makes it more enticing to buy with PayPal even though theoretically they could use a credit card and then pay the balance with the money in the PayPal account.
There is little downside to adding it in my experience even though PayPal is known for high-handed behavior when dealing with merchants and always siding with consumers.
