Answer Question
SEO question: How do we deal with stolen content?
We ran into an interesting situation today at Wordfence. Looks like a recent blog post has been copied by several sites, and we are considered the 'duplicate' content.
Using a unique phrase search, all the copy sites appear with our site buried beneath the "duplicate results" clickable link. This search will illustrate the issue. Wordfence.com is at the very bottom under omitted results.

So I was wondering if anyone has encountered this and what the most effective strategy is to deal with this kind of issue? We rank very well for our category and it's the first time AFAIK that we've run into this. I'd rather not have to manually pursue each violator with DMCA takedown requests.
Looks like Google terminated their 'Authorship' program. What other tools are available to prove you own content to Google?
