Answer Question
What do brand managers actually do? What companies need them most?
I often hear people say that they "manage a brand". What does this entail? I always thought that if you make a great product people will like your brand, and there is little one can do to "manage" a brand if the customers fundamentally don't like a product i.e. if you have a great product, a brand manager can't add much value. And if your product sucks, there is little they can do. No?
