Is it a good convention to name your product or company "MyThis" e.g. MySpace or MySQL?
Just trying to understand the rationale behind such naming? Is it that by having people call something "MyThis" they will feel more attached to it and so build stronger brand loyalty? Does it actually work? MySpace ultimately failed and MySQL is successful (albeit under Oracle's ownership) but I don't think different names would have changed the outcomes. What do you think?
