Selling directly vs. offering useful information first? Which produces more sales?
Does anyone have valid A/B tests of running ads directly to a sales page vs. selling the same product by first presenting useful information? For example if you are selling steak knives first direct the ads to a short article on a little known tip to get the perfect cut and then link to your product page (vs just linking to the product page). I'd like to learn from others tests.
