Answer Question
Can one really make a living on Substack with 1,000 newsletter subscribers?
Substack has grown in popularity with the founders claiming that creators can earn a full time living without selling their souls i.e. hewing to a particular editorial agenda when you work for a large publication. Is this really true? Is Kevin Kelly's 1000 true fans theory valid? That you just need 1,000 people to pay you $100 per year and then you'll be making six figures.
