I have a strong opinion about these types of services…..stay away!
There are several reasons behind my opinion, which I’ll break down for you briefly:
1. No one should be “Cold Calling” anymore. Whether they are internal team members or outsources 3rd party. There are multiple ways to create targeted call lists, specific to your business offering, which yield far better conversion results.
2. Your company’s brand is critically important, even more so in today’s B2B landscape. I know from meeting you and speaking with you about your business model, you take a very hands on, concierge level service approach.
I would never trust or allow some 3rd party call center (most likely paying min wage to untrained employees) to represent my brand. You have no control or over oversight of how they are delivering your message, their level of professionalism, etc. You are one of many clients and the people calling on your behalf have no skin in the game. They likely don't really understand your value prop, your differentiators, your audience, how to correctly handle objections etc. The only metric they will be measured by is how many meetings they book- this incentivizes the wrong types of behavior. Ultimately, I see this as potentially doing far more damage than good.
I hope this is helpful. Please, feel free to call me if you would like to discuss this further or chat about some alternatives. There are many viable ways to build funnels and pipeline and execute on lead generation. I don't consider 3rd part call centers to be among them.
