<p>Matt is a Managing Director at the Seattle based Madrona Venture Group. Matt focuses on a broad range of software-driven companies. He is particularly interested in intelligent applications powered by “datawareâ€. He is a big believer that “VR/AR time has arrived!†His words of advice to would-be entrepreneurs: “Truly understand the customer and their needs first and work your way back to a technology-differentiated solution to their needs from there.â€</p><p>In 2011, Matt received the Washington Policy Center’s Champion of Freedom Award. He was also named to the Forbes Midas List in 2008, 2009 & 2011.</p><p>Matt is a graduate of Dartmouth College and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.</p>
